Personal Assistant Services (PAS) support the efforts of individuals with disabilities to stay in their home and community environments. PAS provides assistance with the activities of daily living (ADL - Activities of Daily Living are those personal, functional activities required by an individual for continued well-being, health and safety; they are typically those services which are required on a daily basis) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL - Instrumental Activities of Daily Living are those activities that are considered essential for sustaining the individual’s health and safety, but may not require performance on a daily basis).
